Is This Adventure Right for You?

This 12-day trek through the Pyrenees is more than just a hike — it’s a physically and mentally demanding journey designed for people with real outdoor experience and a deep motivation to take on a serious challenge. Before applying, we encourage you to reflect on your current level of fitness and past experiences in nature.

You should consider applying if you:

  • Practice sports regularly, especially endurance or strength-based activities like running, cycling, or climbing. These build the stamina and resilience needed for long days on the trail.

  • Have a solid background in physical activity and training. Even if your current routine is lighter, prior experience with sport or outdoor challenges shows you know how to prepare and care for your body.

  • Are used to pushing your body — and mind — in challenging environments. This trek demands sustained effort and mental adaptability when conditions get tough.

  • Have completed hikes, runs, or other outdoor efforts of 10 km or more, especially on natural terrain. This gives you a sense of pacing and physical endurance.

  • Have experience in mountainous or multi-day trekking environments, where managing energy, navigation, and mental focus are essential.

  • Are comfortable in wild settings, including camping, bivouacking, or staying in remote huts with minimal comfort — and can adapt to nature’s rhythm.

But physical ability is just part of it.

This adventure isn’t only about reaching summits or covering long distances — it’s also about your mindset, your relationship with the outdoors, and how you respond when things get tough. The mountains have a way of revealing who we are: they strip away distractions, test our resilience, and offer moments of stillness, struggle, and discovery.

We’re looking for people who are not just physically prepared, but emotionally open to the challenge. People who understand that discomfort can be part of something meaningful. These are some of the qualities we look for:

  • You’ve stepped outside your comfort zone in the outdoors.
Maybe it was a tough climb, an unexpected storm, or a long day when you wanted to quit but didn’t. Experiences like these show mental strength and emotional readiness.

  • You’ve faced moments that tested your limits and left a mark on you.
This adventure will create deep personal memories — and we value participants who appreciate how nature can shape you, challenge you, and even change you.

  • You’ve spent nights in wild places — and learned from it.
Whether it was a bivouac, a stay in a mountain hut, or a solo camp under the stars, meaningful nights outdoors teach resilience, humility, and self-reliance.

If you feel that this resonates with you — that you have the physical preparation, the outdoor experience, and the mindset we’re looking for — we’d love to hear from you. You can submit your application by filling out the admission form through the button below.
